To be fitted for contact lenses, you need to see your optometrist at Optic Shades. They perform several tests, conduct an eye exam, and take a thorough health history to determine which contact lens may be the best for you. As part of your exam for contact lenses, your optometrist may: measure your eyes, test for intraocular (inside your eye) pressure, test your baseline vision, dilate your pupils, look at the structures inside your eye, determine your prescription, fit you for contact lenses, test movement of lenses on your eye, teach you how to place and care for your contacts, schedule you for a follow-up appointment within a week.

Any time your eye or eyelid is injured, it’s important to seek emergency eye care at Optic Shades immediately. Your vision is a delicate thing, and injuries can mean permanent damage if not treated quickly.
